Watchful Waiting for Prostate Cancer Treatment

Did you know that nearly 200,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year? Quite alarming if you come to think of it. But most of the cases are actually low-grade. That means the tumors are slow-growing and small. So slow and small that there really is not much threat to life. In fact, most of these men will probably die of something else before the cancer even starts to get them.
However, most men with low-grade cancer immediately jump into traditional prostate cancer treatments such as surgery or radiation therapy. Without being fully aware of the possible consequences. Or they may be aware of them, but they just didn’t understand how great the impact will be. More out of sense of getting it out and over with rather than a logical approach to their problem.
Afterwards they are stuck with leading miserable sex lives on top of their unending runs to the bathroom. Which they could have avoided had they decided to consider watchful waiting and just treat the cancer as it progresses – if it progresses. Read the rest of this entry »
Physical Therapy Has One of the Highest Levels of Job Satisfaction

When we’re kids thinking about what we want to be when we’re older, we don’t really think about job satisfaction. Anything we want to be will of course be satisfying – a fireman! a baseball player! But as we become adults, we know that many people end up in careers and lines of work where they simply aren’t happy. Physical therapy though isn’t like that, and in fact, it has one of the highest overall ratings for job satisfaction for any line of work or career out there.
So, just how many physical therapists are happy with their jobs? In a very important 2007 study, it was found that more than three quarters of physical therapists aren’t only satisfied, they are “very satisfied” with their careers. That’s above 75% of people in the field, and it means that entering this profession could be your ticket to a lifetime of happiness and success.
But to put that number into better perspective, don’t just take our word that it’s very high. Consider that in the same survey, it was the number 2 ranked career that was listed. The only thing higher than it is something completely different – being a part of the clergy! After that, physical therapy was next on the list, which is pretty spectacular. Physical Education Aims and Objectives

Aim of Physical Education – The ultimate goal or direction is referred to as an aim, it point out way. It is final end. Aim is achieved some certain objectives.
Aim of physical education, like general education, is to develop human personality in its totality well planned activity programs. In some words, physical education aim at the all round development of the personality of an individual or wholesome development of human personality and it includes physical, mental, social, emotional and moral aspects to make an individual a good citizen who is able to make contribution in process of nation in one’s own way. Thus physical education means at making an individual physical fit, mentally alert, emotionally balanced, socially well adjusted, morally true and spiritually uplifted.
Objectives of Physical Education – Objectives are steps considered towards the attainment of the aim. They are the particular and precise means employed to realize an aim. The moment an aim is achieved it becomes an objective in the action that goal on continuing.
The three Objectives of physical education are -
